What Does Stan Bush Do?

What I do has always been a mystery to some.  Am I an application developer or am I a designer? Some wonder if I'm a server guy or a desktop specialist. There's a whole other group that will say I'm some sort of Hardware and Network Engineer. If you ask those in the communities that I've built or participated in they'll tell you that I'm a trainer, author, and community organizer. The true is I'm a little bit of all of those, and I provide those services to people that need them. I take responsibility and can be held accountable for the results of my services.

What Does Stan Bush Say He Does?

I say that I help people find solutions.  I could add a lot more to that by adding buzz words like 'core competency, globalization, paradigms, synergy, and my personal favorite 'thinking outside of the box', but what good would that do?  It's too confusing.  Call an apple an apple. It's not a low hanging fruit for disruptive technologies. I like plain speak. I like to understand what people are saying with out having to look up their meaning.  That's what you can count on from me, or at least that's what I think I do.
However, sometimes I have to say "just do this", because any other explanation would simply take too long. For example, I could give you all sorts of reasons why these paragraphs start with me talking about me in the third person...but the truth is all that has to do with something called 'semantic/organic' search stuff. Translation: People look for phrases.

When Does Stan Bush Work?

When I Work changes depending on my work load, but as a general rule, I am most likely to be reached between 8 and 5, Monday - Friday.  I also work the 1st Saturday of each month from 8 to 5.  I'm off on Sunday, with no exceptions.
All times are Eastern Standard.
If there is an emergency, or if the type of work that is involved is time sensitive, I  do on occasionally work out side those hours. Please contact me to setup up an appointment. Don't just pick up the phone and call. I wouldn't do that to you, so please don't do that to me.

Where Does Stan Bush Work?

Where I Work depends on what I'm doing.  If you follow my work, you already know that my response to that could be 'wherever I can connect.'  That's the only 'real' limitation to my work environment.
On the other hand, if you're talking about where do I work in terms of 'virtual' locations that's pretty broad and changes constantly.  As of July 15, 2013 I am putting that stuff up as quickly as possible. The locations will be listed on the menus to the right. At this writing I am not sure whether it will be a seperate menu, or included under the more general "Where" menu.

Why I Work isn't that complicated. I could give a lot of reasons about certifications, interests, and other typical responses. But the truth is I work because I have to.  I have to work because I have a passion for helping others. I get inspired when I know that the things I work on are going to have a positive effect on someone's life.

I work because others inspire me.
